Biomimicry(2)

I am allergic to bees and, I am terrified of them when they are around me (for obvious reasons), however, I am very interested in them. I started googling "honey making" and then I ended up looking at what their body material is made of (chitin). It is a very strong material that I think can be utilized. I did a patent search on chitin and I found that many people have tried to reproduce chitin but have not actually used it for anything other than in a shampoo. This I will look into more for maybe using it in my ENDS 101 Biomimicry soft innovation.
